Nanjing Jazz and World Music Festival in Nanjing China (click for more info)

The Grant Simpson Quintet will be performing at the Nanjing Jazz and World Music Festival in Nanjing China.  This is my third time at the festival which has now grown to a five city festival.

The master erhuist Dong Jinming is the Artistic Director of the festival and we have the honor of performing with his orchestra this year at the opening ceremony of the festival.

Thanks go to the Cultural Services Branch of the Yukon Territorial Government under the minister Mike Nixon.  Cultural Services has a program called the Artist Touring fund which enables artists to capitalize on opportunities such as the Nanjing Jazz Festival and many others.
