I saw Del Barber at one of the Home Routes House Concerts at Shallow Bay this past Sunday. Del is a young guy who is pure-bred prairie boy wearing a cloak of a wandering Canadian troubadour. Dawson City with Gillian Campbell

I spent two days in Dawson city last week. The first day I played for the renowned Gillian Campbell of Klondike Kate fame. Gillian is an long-time friend and one of the early members of the Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue. I’ve worked with many leading ladies in my day, but none can hold a crowd’s attention like Gillian. She simply walks out on stage and owns the crowd from that moment on. Continue reading
