Blogs:
I've got a couple of Blogs going that I would like to work on a bit more before I post them. But for now here is something you might want to look at regarding the Music Business.
I have a lot of experience in the Music Business and the biggest lesson I have learned along the way is that in the current "system" or "norm" - the musicians and the artists and their art - come last. Last to be considered - and last to be paid for. There are exceptions - but they are few and far between.
Here is an article that was sent to me by my friend Danette Redman. It's an article by David Byrne about the Music Business. It was nice to read things that I've been observing over the past few years in the business (and arguing with the Admin types about). If you are a musician or interested in the health of professional music (meaning - music which you can go and see in your community), you should read this. It's not bad news at all. You can get it here: Wired Magazine.
