Five Finger Rapids combine original tunes & favorite standards to deliver a show full of swing & soul with a northern twist. The band delivers smart lyrics, catchy melodies and arrangements that keep the audience on the edge of their seats with toes tapping. 

All four members have been involved with multiple music endeavors both locally and 'outside' over the years.  Grant Simpson has toured in China, Korea, the Caribbean and more. Simpson is a world-class stride pianist and has written songs for the band jumping with influence from his theatrical background. Kate Weekes returned to the Yukon this fall after performing in Japan where she won crowds over with her voice, guitar chops and songs. Marg Tatum accompanied Kevin Barr on his CD Release tour in November and has played every major festival in the Yukon. Rob Bergman (one of the Bergman brothers) is a well-established bass player, known for his flying fingers and steady groove. 

Five Finger Rapids draws from a deep pool of experience and talents. They've come together to form an eclectic band of vocal harmony and syncopation ready to treat their listeners to a night of delight.
